Privacy Policy

Summary

MyBins ("the app") is developed by FLSoft ("we," "our," or "us"). MyBins does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app has no internet access permission and makes no network connections of any kind.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, location data, device identifiers, analytics, crash reports, or any other personal information. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no servers.

Information Stored On Your Device

To function, MyBins saves a small set of preferences locally on your device only, using standard Android app storage:

• Your selected bin collection day of the week
• Which bin type (red/yellow/green) is next, used to calculate the fortnightly schedule
• Which bin types you have enabled
• Whether you've turned on the day-before reminder notification

This information never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us, to the app developer, or to any third party. It is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.

Permissions

MyBins requests two Android permissions:

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): used only to show the optional "bin day tomorrow" reminder, if you turn that feature on in Settings. You can deny this permission and still use the app; you just won't receive the reminder.
• Receive boot completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): used to re-schedule the widget's midnight refresh and the optional reminder after your device restarts. No data is read or sent as part of this.

Third Parties

MyBins contains no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics libraries. We do not share data with anyone because we do not collect any.

Children's Privacy

MyBins does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from any user.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same page with a revised "Last updated" date.
